ELOP programs are under the purview and regulatory requirements of TDOE CHAPTER 0520-12-01 with regard to adult: child ratios. With this in mind, each program can only accept a certain number of students for every staff member working in the program, before-school and after-school. The remaining students are put on a waiting list in chronological order until we’re able to serve additional students. Once your child(ren) are admitted, you’ll receive an email informing you of the status change with instructions to update your child(ren)’s application. Please know that we’re working hard everyday to serve as many families as possible, however ELOP must always do its due diligence with regard to T.C.A compliance, otherwise the program, School and/or District could be at risk of receiving plans of corrective action (POCAs), civil penalties (fines), and/or be closed down due to noncompliance.
